"2nd time I used the bag I Checked it at the airport and the front of the bag was covered in scuff marks and abrasions when I got it back. I was able to get some of them off, but the front of the bag is still scratched/top layer worn off in places and has rubber marks from other wheels. I like the bag overall, but I would never check it again and exclusively use it as a carry on (even then it got scuff marks despite being gentle with it, but not as bad as it was when checked). Disappointed at how easily it showed wear after 2 uses."

"I bought this bag specifically for the international sizing and the option of backpack straps that are opposite the wheel side of the bag. I've had other bags with backpack straps above the wheels, and then the wheels get my clothes dirty if I need to carry it that way. I love the quality of Eagle Creek products and the warranty the company offers."

"We’ve taken this bag all over and find it perfect for light-weight international travel. I prefer a roller but there have been times, like navigating to our 500 stair hotel in Sorrento Italy, where the backpack straps have been a lifesaver. I use the eagle creek packing cubes and can just fit what I need. Also love tht Eagle Creek has a lifetime repair warranty on their products in case anything breaks- great company overall."

"Good wheeled duffle for an international carry-on. I just mail used it for a 30 day trip and I really liked the compact size. However, I found the backpack straps took up a significant amount of space and their storage location negatively impacts the length of the main compartment, making the packing space shorter. The straps are not detachable and I am considering cutting them off if I can get some capacity back."
